Welcome to Rockin-G-Ranch. My name is is Marvin Guerin, my wife and I bought this ranch in 1990, to keep my fathers (Charles Guerin) legacy going. My father raised Foundation Missouri Foxtrotters since the 1950s raising the best bloodlines he could and now I am doing the same thing. Still to this day we have kept and raised horses from the same Foundation bloodline. Yellow Jacket was my fathers first stallion, his registration number is 175 and one of the best Foundation horses. We have been proud of his offspring and what they've accomplished, we still are breeding horses that are from his bloodline. We try to keep our bloodline clear of Tennessee Walking horses which equals to calmer horses and especially better riding horses. In addition, we have Pierson Creek stallions that we breed to our mares and stallions. Our stallions also go back to the old Golden Governor stallion who is a wonderful Foxtrotting Stallion and has many great qualities that show in out horses nowadays. We also have a double breed Danny Joe w. stallion, and other old foundation blood lines. Not that my opinion matters to you or anyone out there but I'm saying these horse are probably the best Foundation Foxtrotters you can find out there and I'm not just saying that to boost myself. We keep everything truthful around here and if you are looking for something like a great trail riding family horse maybe we've got what you want.
My family and I like to ride horses and going on trail rides, we love to host trail rides fro others once in a while. When we do trail ride we love guiding our guests through the trails and showing our land and the history that's went into this place. We encourage visitors to bring their own horses for the trail rides but if not of course we've got you covered and have some for rent. Our ranch consists of 200 acres where we breed, raise, train and also sell horses.
To get to the ranch from Ozark, Missouri, take Highway 14 east to Sparta, Missouri. When you go through Sparta, take Highway 125 south to Chadwick, Missouri. Our ranch is located 4 miles south of Chadwick on Highway 125. Turn left on Guerin Lane and our driveway is the first left off Guerin Lane, we have a green gate.
